#3goodthings Leaving California after a week visit

1. Visited with my brother’s family: my niece’s one year old is walking and so very pleased with herself.
2. Wasn’t working so had more time to visit with friends in the Bay Area.
3. Finally made it to see Uvas Canyon County parks with a dear friend. I’ve been trying to visit for years and it was worth the trip.

Enjoying a short break from the snow as it mostly melted this week:

• dumped all of my kitchen scraps where I transplanted my California compost worms. It’ll be ready for them when it’s warmer
• stocked up on food - especially veggies. After the snow falls the selection is terrible
• pushing back Indivisible in-person working sessions as there are likely to be driving restrictions. Better to be safe in the snowstorm due to hit in ~10 hours.

1. I officially leave my work Feb 20th. It may be my last full-time role.
2. I am so happy (see item 1) that I started cooking plum-strawberry jam and plan to bake cookies
3. The nearby UPS folks have been my witness (not notary) for 2 documents in the last couple of weeks - for free. Guess where some of the jam is headed!
