ive been critical of nintendo & GF in the past despite being a huge fan since i was a kid, so trust me when i say that i dont think 20$ for FireRed or LeafGreen is a bad offer. like sure, it's just a ROM. but compared to the expensive GBA carts on the market right now with battery failure, not a bad deal

somewhere down the line, you'll also get trade functionality & pokemon home support. like i wouldve loved remakes of past entries to celebrate the 30th anniversary more than this sure, but hey, they could've totally made this more expensive & not added trade/home functionality with what we got here

im glad they didnt just throw this on NSO. even if there isn't a regular physical release or even one in the west, at least as long as you have the digital game, it'll be on your system & in your library
